Configuring Dreamweaver for your website First, create a folder
on your zip called "web". Make sure the zip is in the drive
before you open the dreamweaver application. (Note:
if on your personal computer, you can create the folder on your hard
drive.)
...fill in a site name - it can be anything - and click on the folder...
PC - direct the application to
your "web" folder open it and click "Select"
Under "Category", select sub-heading "Remote Info". From the "Access" box, choose "FTP"...
Here is the ftp information you must include - (insert your own domain
name & ftp password.)
Hit the "F8" key and the Site box will appear. Click the Remote Host button, type in password (If necessary.)
If all goes well, your web
files should appear in the left window (See below). If they do not,
carefully review your input. Over half the problems I encounter are caused
by faulty input.
